Chris O'Connor, Camp Director: 860-678-1867 ext 102 Put us on your summer calendar now! Summer Art AdventuresLocated at Farmington Valley Arts Center Ages 4-7 Eight weeks of summer fun! Kids aged 4 & 5 and 6 & 7 work in separate groups to fill summer with fun and creativity while learning basic art skills. Each week's projects will include instruction in painting, drawing, sculpture, 2-D and 3-D design, collage, and lots of imaginative fun! Each week has its own theme and takes us on a new adventure. Many projects are literacy-based. Instructors have significant experience in working with younger children. Program meets daily 9:00-11:30am. Week 2 (July 7-11): SQUISH IT, BUILD IT, PAINT IT: CLASS FULL! REGISTRATION CLOSED! Use different types of clay to create! Week 3 (July 14-18): THE ARTISTS' GARDEN More master painters who worked in gardens! Including us! Week 4 (July 21-25): ART-VENTURES ON THE SEVEN SEAS! Beaches, pirates, jellyfish, waves, & mermaids Week 5 (July 28- August 1): FUNKY FAIRYTALES ON STAGE! Dress up & mess up your favorite fairytales! Week 6: (August 4-8): MAGIC MAPS: GLOBAL ART Create your way around the world! Week 7: (August 11-15): IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE! Monkeys, rainforests, birds, bugs, & waterfalls Week 8: (August 18-22): LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! Baby, you're a star!
